Bemidji’s Veterans of Foreign War Auxiliary President, Margaret Booge, presenting a check for $500 to Mary Mitchell, Executive Director of the Bemidji Area Food Shelf. This money, donated during March’s Food Share Month, will be doubled and used to help support local families in need.

Color Guard Detail on Veterans Day – November 11, 2014

VFW Post 1260 Post Color Guard members take part in the Lincoln School student’s activities honoring their Veteran parents and relatives.

The Color Guard is a volunteer group of Post members that provide Flag Honors, Flag Presentations, Parade Presentations and other “Honor” activities for the Bemidji area by invitation.
The group participated in approximately one dozen Color Guard activities during 2014. Many of these same members also provide Honor Guard details at local Veteran funerals. The group participated in approximately two dozen Honor Guard activities in 2014.
VFW members interested in participating in any of these activities should discuss their interest with one of the Post Staff fully identified on other pages of this Web Site.
